Health facilities for flood affected people

The recent severe floods in Bandarban district have had a significant impact on the health of the affected people. To address this issue, 63rd and 64th medical camps have been set up on Lama upazila in Bandarban. These medical camps aim to provide medical care to approximately 1500 peoples. The initiative is funded by Abundance of Good Inc USA and implemented by Socio Economic Development Alliance-SEDA. In these camps, medical supplies and free medicines are being distributed to those in need.

BUILDING HOUSES FOR CLIMATE AFFECTED FAMILIES

SEDA’s shelter project is running in different parts of the country for homeless people. Under this project, houses are being constructed for people who have lost their only means of living due to various natural calamities.

These people have their own houses. But they have lost their houses due to different natural disaster in different years by Cyclone Sidr, Amphan ,Yaas, aila etc. .Many people who have lost everything including their homes, are sheltering in other people’s houses. So SEDA is trying to arrange safe home for them.

DISTRIBUTION OF SEWING MACHINES IN NARSINGDI FOR DISADVANTAGED WOMEN

Sewing machines are distributed among rural women in Narsingdi district to empower women . These women wants to earn and become independent. They have received sewing machines training .They can make various types of beautiful clothes. But due to lack of money , they can not afford to buy sewing machines for them. After knowing the incident, we have taken an initiative to distribute sewing machines among them.Now they are working by their own to prepare them solvent.
