Sewing machines are distributed among rural women in Narsingdi district to empower women . These women wants to earn and become independent. They have received sewing machines training .They can make various types of beautiful clothes. But due to lack of money , they can not afford to buy sewing machines for them. After knowing the incident, we have taken an initiative to distribute sewing machines among them.Now they are working by their own to prepare them solvent.
Nilphamari is the northern district of the Bangladesh, the severity of winter is more than any part of Bangladesh.Every year people is suffered by bone chilling cold.Many poor people can not afford to buy blankets to cover winter.We have distributed blankets among these poor people.
Gabura is a very hard to reach area in Bangladesh. It is situated along with the world largest mangrove forest called Sundarban. Natural calamities is very common here. Transport system is not available here as like as other part of Bangladesh. Pregnant women and ill people are facing a lot of problems to get treatment. It is separated from main land by a mighty river. For that reason, SEDA has launched water ambulance project for the people of Gabura.
