Project Objective

To improve the living conditions of homeless and underprivileged families in the northern region of Bangladesh by providing safe shelter and supporting mosque construction to strengthen community welfare and social development.

Project Background

The northern region of Bangladesh is home to many vulnerable and disadvantaged families who face acute housing insecurity and lack adequate shelter. Seasonal hardships, poverty, and limited economic opportunities often leave many families homeless or living in unsafe conditions.

In addition to housing challenges, many communities also require improved religious and social infrastructure to support collective well-being and social cohesion. Recognizing these needs, this project was undertaken to construct houses for homeless families and provide support for mosque construction in the northern region.

Activities Implemented

1. Shelter Support for Homeless Families

Houses were constructed and distributed among homeless and extremely poor families, ensuring safe and secure shelter for vulnerable households.

2. Support for Mosque Construction

Financial and material support was provided for mosque construction to strengthen community religious infrastructure and create a sustainable space for worship and social engagement.
