Project Objective

To improve the quality of life of climate-vulnerable coastal communities through access to safe drinking water, healthcare services, secure housing, and educational support for disadvantaged children.

Project Background

The coastal areas of Bangladesh, particularly the island unions adjacent to the Sundarbans, face severe challenges due to climate change, salinity intrusion, water scarcity, inadequate healthcare access, poor housing conditions, and limited educational opportunities.

The people of these areas, especially children and marginalized families, are highly vulnerable to recurring natural disasters and socio-economic hardships. To address these pressing needs, this project was implemented to provide integrated support through safe water solutions, medical assistance, housing construction, and education support.
